I didn't get past the "coffee and chat" stage which is common in New Zealand. I was told I was not a good cultural fit because I was not bubbly enough. I call BS on this. The interviewer barely let me get a word in edgeways. I think she just thought I was too old. Also I ventured the opinion that a company that takes care of its staff first and foremost is one to be admired. They focus only on what is good for the customer, to the detriment of their staff. Turnover is high, I have since learned.
