Undergraduate summer intern interview. Phone call interview, directly from the corresponding department. Questions about education background, courses taken, projects on CV, and previous internship experience. Easy mode phone screening and the whole interview was in Chinese.

The company usually recruits new interns before any interns have to leave, so the response is quick and the process is completed in less than two weeks. All interviews are initiated directly by the leader of the group in which the position is submitted. The company will first ask us to do a ppt on the company's research in order to examine the relevant research ability, rigor of thinking and meticulousness. Then we had a phone interview.
