Offer was retracted only 2 days before starting.
I had no issue with the interviews themselves. The hiring process however was plagued with hold ups, unprofessionalism, and ultimately, great disrespect.
After following up several times and my hiring manager elevating priority , I received an offer letter 2.5 weeks after verbally accepting and several days after the original projected start date...and it was wrong (it stated that I was to work in a different state).
Once the offer was fixed, signed, and onboarding material was sent and largely completed by me, I received a very cold, brief email stating my offer had been rescinded due to misconduct during the hiring process. Mind you this was sent just before 5PM at the end of the week. I reached out to everyone I had been in contact with to get clarity, but they had clearly been told from above to cease communication as I received no help or responses. I received only one reply the next day from the same sender stating that I had been rude to an employee, possibly referring to an unscheduled call I received on a Saturday afternoon while I was eating lunch and sounded annoyed when the caller didn't seem to respect that I told them such. Mind you this was FIVE full days prior to the offer being rescinded.
The whole process wasted not only my time, but several employees time. As the days turned to weeks, I could hear in employees voices the frustration with internal systems and a slow upper management. Some even expressed this to me explicitly which solidified the unprofessionalism. The timing and cause of retraction feels almost like a scapegoat for a botched hiring process. It *did* put a bad taste in my mouth by the end and it's a shame the company had to put me and their lower management into such an awkward position. Probably dodged a bullet.

Recruiter call. Worst ever. They called out on a previous employer on my resume and talked down to me about my degree being IT vs CS. They even called out my gap on resume and said u have been doing masters for 2 years so how r u even keeping up latest trends. They called me down again and again. The worst part being we belong to the same home country. fellow homie being so rude. avoid all costs. They call themselves Nish to sound cool when they go my Manish
