Entrevista
Phone interview. Then two "in-person" interviews each 1 hr over two days.
Phone interview: Bright, knowledgeable about the company. Asked standard background questions.
In-Person 1: Upbeat. Asked questions pertaining to my experience, and what I'm currently doing in my role. Went into detail more about the company and what they're looking for. Asked additional, more detailed questions about my experience. Seemed positive.
In-Person 2: Cheery. Interviewer went over their background and how they fit into their role. More in depth about them as a person than them as a piece of the company. Almost as though I would solely be working for them not with or for the company. Finally asked about my extensive background, but only seemed to zone in on an extremely entry level position I'd mentioned candidly at the end for comic relief, and not my actual experience that was relevant to the role. When I was able to discuss my relevant experience I was cut off, and spoken over several times. I initially chalked it up to a possible connection error (zoom).
I was informed by the end of the week that I would not be moved forward in the process.

When applying, I originally had a phone interview screening that lasted around 30 minutes. After getting through this process I was asked to come in for an interview the following Monday. The interview was around an hour and involved 3 different 1:1 interviews with the sales team. I believed this went really well. The sales team was very responsive and positive and made me feel very welcomed.
I was told the following day I was invited for an interview with one of the co-CEO. I was told to do as much research as I could about the company. I thought I did but I was wrong. The CEO really wants to entail you completely understand the product. I really though I had a good understanding and thought I went deep enough. But clearly I didn't if I didn't get the offer. My advice is when you think you did enough research and you are ready, go even deeper. Spend a couple of more hours reading everything you can about this company. The CEO really wants to drive home that you know everything. He did build this with his partner from the ground up so wants to ensure his employees understand everything.
This is an amazing company to work for. They have a great product and they really treat their employees well. If you are lucky enough to get to this stage of the interview, really really dig deep. I cant express that enough. Good luck to you all!

I was introduced to SiteCompli via Hired.com.
They reached out to me to set up an initial phone screen followed by a phone interview with the manager for the position.
After the phone interview I was asked to come into the office for an on-site interview.
In the office I had 4 interviews over 3 hours.
The first two were technical interviews. The first one was general questions about my technical background. The second interview was more specific technical questions, where they showed me the basic wiring of an app and asked me questions about how I would go about building different parts of the app. The questions were from all parts of the stack, from structuring SQL queries on the back end to making Ajax calls on the front end.
The next interview was with the product team and resolved mostly around company practices, and the fourth was with the manager for the job and it was mostly about the company, what it's like to work there, the benefits, etc.
What impressed me the most about the interview process was how open everyone was, it seemed like we spent as much time with them telling me about the company as I spent telling them about myself. I left the interview learning more about SiteCompli than I had about any other company I ever interviewed with.
About a week after the interview the hiring manager called me to let me know they wouldn't be moving forward, though she made it a point to tell me that the teams had a great time talking to me, and they hoped I would stay in touch regarding future openings.
I appreciated that touch as well. She easily could have just sent me a canned rejection email like most other companies, that would have been a lot easier and less awkward, yet she took the time and effort to call and make me feel good about it.
I have to admit this was one of the best rejections I got, and I look forward to hopefully dealing with them again next time I'll be looking for a job.

How would you react if someone in management asked you to do something you know would have bad consequences, yet they were not technical enough to understand why?
