After I submitted my application, I heard back from the hiring manager within a week. Then I met with a couple managers and the director and shadowed some people from the team. The experience was very positive and the company kept communication very consistent. About a one month process overall.
Received a message on LinkedIn followed with an HR screening call. The call was fact based, cold and didn’t take more than 12 minutes. I was scheduled with the hiring manager next. I have rarely passed on the position in an interview process this early, but there was no way I could have enjoyed my job with that work climate that I got from my interaction with that company so far. The interview with the hiring manager was cold, arrogant and honestly it was painful to sit through. At the end they responded, well we wanted to see how you interact with a new to you person and a difficult personality. ?!

Entrevista
Interviews were fine, but the process was awful. My primary contact was incommunicative, opaque, and lied to me about the position being offered to another candidate. After each round of interviews, my primary contact was out of town (without telling me in advance) and I never knew what the next steps were. When asked for any feedback to help me improve my search, I never heard back. Turns out, the position is still open and they just wanted to avoid a difficult conversation.
