I was interviewed for a position in the account department. During the call, the recruiter was from Portugal , very positive about my profile, shared role and responsibilities
Process - Received interview invite after 2 days of application. On the third day interview scheduled with recruiter.
Despite a great conversation in the first round and promises of a "clear timeline of 1 week for next update on application," I have received no update after 15 days.
I followed up and no reply. No reply on calls and emails too. Week 2: I sent another follow-up email after giving them a reasonable grace period. Current Status: Total silence. Interestingly, my status in the Applicant Tracking System still shows as "application in process" It is unprofessional to set specific expectations for next steps and then vanish. A simple "we decided to move forward with another candidate" or "the process is on hold" is much more respected than ghosting. This behavior damages your employer brand and suggests that recruitment is more about hitting interview KPIs than finding and respecting talent. Ghosting candidates is worse experience."Candidate experience is part of employer branding. I was waiting for a feedback for 15 days. But after following up via email, teams chat and 5 calls (no answer), so finally i withdrew my application."

Das erste Gespräch mit HR war an sich total freundlich und professionell. Leider habe ich nach dem Gespräch keinerlei weitere Informationen oder eine Absage erhalten. Das isr für mich eine no-go.
