It was a bit confusing. The job description says head of recruiting. The prescreen they wanted a recruiter but the panel they wanted a sourcer who doubled as a coordinator but does not actually interview anyone.

Entrevista
Basic interview process; started with speaking to the recruiter that reached out after I applied. Spent several hours over the course of two weeks talking to different people on the team.
I received a response that they "were impressed" and wanted to move forward but had to wait for the contract they were working on to be solidified. I waited 2 weeks then emailed the Hiring Manager to discuss details, and was told they were still waiting for the contract. Emailed again then met with the hiring manager 2 weeks after that and was told that I would hear back "in a few days."
I never heard back from Skylight, then saw they had filled the position about a month and a half later. This was the most unprofessional interview process I've experienced in the 8 years I've been working in the UX space.

Tell us about your UX Research background and experience
Product Designer role. Initial 30 minute interview, followed by a longer (1 hour, 30 minutes) interview to review 1 to 2 case studies. There were no breaks offered during the longer interview. There was an additional follow-up conversation to confirm my interest in a "combined" role, and a suggestion to do another touchpoint with the team. After a couple of weeks of not hearing back, I reached out. They responded that I was a "strong candidate" still under consideration and it was taking them longer than expected due to either staffing arrangements or waiting for a client project to begin. I was then contacted a month later and notified that they've decided not to proceed due to "prioritizing candidates with a slightly closer match, a shift in our hiring needs, or the position being filled by someone further along in the process".
