Entrevista
The interview process was semi-formal with an emphasis on connecting with the right people versus answering questions the right way. The whole process consisted of seven interviews, although it was much less overwhelming than that number seemed at first. The first interview was a general resume and experience screening with the recruiter; second was a technical screening with a Solution Architect; third was a fit interview with the Practice Lead and the person I would be reporting to; fourth was a casual conversation with a Solution Architect that had come from a similar background; fifth was a fit interview with a Solution Principal; sixth was a sit-down with the General Manager where I got to ask questions about the firm and the office he manages; seventh and final was a happy hour with my would-be Practice Director. Overall, I was pleased that the interview experience seemed tailored to me and my background (e.g. meeting me with the right people) versus a more forceful process where I had to try to answer questions correctly with a generic interview panel.
They always say that the most important factor when working for a consulting company is the people, and the strength of the people at Slalom was definitely demonstrated through their interview process. I did end up accepting the offer, and they were very willing work with me on negotiating terms for transitioning me from my previous firm.

Entrevista
I was contacted by a recruiter. After the first round of technical interview I was told that my skill set does not align with the requirement. But still they would like to continue the interview process ( a big red flag). I went through 5 rounds of interview and only to be told later that they don't have a matching role at this time. That was really a big waste of time. They were aware that my profile did not match still they scheduled 6 rounds of interview. This was a very bad experience.
