Panel interview. Email mixup, they had sent the Zoom meeting link date an hour too early. Not ideal off the bat. No technical / competency questions were asked. Awkward three interviewer panel. 2 managers and a colleague. One of the managers seemed like they’d rather be doing anything else than interviewing candidates, totally disinterested. The colleague looked equally bored, and both of them asked one question each, both of which excruciatingly forced. At the end of the interview, when I was asked if I had any questions, I felt the responses from some of the panelists were dismissive and condescending. Overall a bizarre interview. Probably the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever had. If someone at S&G is reading this, stop doing panel interviews if you can’t find staff who are interested in doing them.
