I passed a take home test with positive feedback. Everyone I spoke to at the onsite was hostile from the get-go. The hiring manager wanted someone to pass ad-hoc analysis tickets too, the rest of the team wanted a 'team-player'. After demonstrating I had the skill and interest to do the job I was passed on for 'culture fit' reasons. Something reeked about the place: ~90% of the folks have been there < 1 year and most looked shell-shocked / beaten down.
