I applied to a Senior Software Engineer position on December 2022. The interview process has several steps, but in my opinion works well enough so both the candidate and the interviewers know if it's a mutual fit. 1st interview went well, it is a standard first screening where my English speaking skills were evaluated. 2nd step was with the Director of Engineering, and it was more high-level in terms of technical regards 3rd was was a deep technical call with a Technical Architect. It was about a couple full stack and React.js oriented questions plus a screen-shared peer programming exercise. 4th step was with the CEO, it went well and you can tell they are really into product minded Engineers. Last step is a take-home challenge that I won't disclose to keep it interesting. Just bear in mind that what matters is the product itself, so use your time wisely, the Snappr team were very specific about reaching out to solve questions before, during, and after the code challenge. Last step pt 2 was to make a presentation to the team where you can show off your mini-product. I was rejected at the final step as I was unable to complete the challenge, making the presentation incomplete as well. I was offer a payment for the time invested during the code challenge.
