The process started off relatively rocky and proved to be a microcosm of the overall experience. An initial interview was setup and was moved four times, each time with notification coming the day of the interview after I had already moved my schedule around to make the timing work. The interview itself was mostly conversation and went relatively well. At the time, I was told that the process would move quickly and that I would have an update within a week. After a week, I had heard nothing and reached out and was told that there had been some delays but that I would definitely have an update by a certain date. This process repeated itself for 3 weeks where the date I was told an update would come would pass, I would hear nothing, and then would only get an update once I proactively reached out after the fact. A month the initial phone call, I received a boilerplate email saying that I had a great background but that they were moving forward with somebody whose background was a better match. Can't blame them for the lack of fit but the degree to which I was strung along and continually told false information was pretty staggering. All in all, it was probably the worst recruiting experience I've ever had insofar as the poor reflection and lack of professionalism by the company.
