I spoke to a lady called Elena for 45 minutes, to which I felt the conversation went well. It was a general casual chat about why I wanted the job etc. At the end of the call she told me that I'd know whether I have reached the second stage by the end of the week. It gets to Friday and I've heard nothing. The following Tuesday I gave her a call to get an update, she told me that the Sales Manager (or role similar to this) hadn't gotten back to her. After this call she stopped answering the phone or responding to emails, even rejecting my phone calls after one ring. It was quite bizarre behaviour considering that her role was Talent Acquisition, surely this role means you have to chase up responses from other parties and tell candidates when they're unsuccessful instead of outright ignoring them, hoping they'll go away.
