In the interview with the hiring manager, fundamental SQL questions were asked despite the expectation of 5+ years of experience for the Data Engineer role. I expected higher difficulty and an updated question bank.
The screening call was pretty straightforward, including the basic questions like 'Tell me about yourself?', 'Why did you apply to this position?', etc. Couldn't make it to the next rounds.

Very conversational interviews that covered my technical experience and how that aligns with their tech stack. We discussed the data migration they are hiring for, and everyone i spoke to spoke highly of the worklife balance they experience working here. The business intelligence questions were straightforward and focused more on how i would handle different asks by stakeholders. I was also asked how I would handle a rude person demanding something of me.
How do you handle a rude demand from a stakeholder? in this situation, they are asking for something they did not previously and placing blame on you for how having it.
