Unprofessional. It's not a great plan to change the point of contact at the moment of contact. Interviewed with 3 friendly individuals and shared my relatable experience, goals and passions. This seemed to go well enough as no technical or behavior questions were asked. Considering the absolutely lack of technical skill exhibited by the team member hired after me, I realized this is par for the course. It is an interview to see if you are 'cool' enough or acceptable as a fall guy for future layoffs when things get tight.
