Entrevista
Interview process was long. Started out with a phone interview from an HR representative discussing my experience, salary expectation, education. Was told I would get a call in the next few days if there was to be a follow up. Received an email the same day to set up the next phone interview (technical). The interview was with a Software QA member of the team based in MA. The phone interview contained questions about what I had done in the past, my expectations of the position, etc. I was then emailed that day for a phone interview with the SVP based here in Pittsburgh. The phone interview was a little more technical, asking what I was capable of, my programming and testing experience, my computer set up at home (for potential work from home). I was then invited in for a interview on site. The onsite interview started with a Java exam. The exam wasn't difficult, it was very long and was very detailed. I then met with a software engineer and a software engineer manager from the parent company. These interviews mostly spoke about previous projects I worked on, my experiences in my current job and how they would assist me, nothing difficult. It was more related to see how well I can develop in different roles. I then met with the head of HR, the questions were more direct about my education and my plans of graduate school, etc. The HR questions were more personality based. Lastly, I met in person with the SVP. He gave me a tour of the building, showed me the products the company makes, and discusses more in depth what the role would be. Upon leaving I was told there would be a decision within two weeks. Two weeks passed, and mid-week three I emailed the company. They were still making a decision and waiting to have everyone that interviewed me to meet (some were on vacation, etc). I waited about a month and emailed back again, and they said they were still deciding. It has now been four months since the first interview and still no word.
