This was a long process that lasted several months because the company underwent some major internal changes from the first time I interviewed until a job offer was made. I had assumed the job had been filled but when I was contacted in October (first interview was in April) and asked if I was still interested I learned that the job had just been put on hold during the period of time between the first interview (when I was sure I had done well but never received a job offer). I agreed to come back for another final interview and was offered the job the next day.
