I received an e-mail inviting me to an interview. They told me they found my CV on a job search website.
I checked the company before going and they looked like they were a Direct Marketing/Multi-Level Marketing company. Knowing already how they recruit/work from past experiences, I just went to be 100% sure.
I arrived on time and had to wait 30 minutes for a 10-minute interview where the recruiter did most of the talking. They told me that the salary for the position was around 26-28K/year.
After that, they told me I was going to get a phone call at 5 PM to inform me if I made it to the second stage.
At 5 PM sharp I received the call, where they told me that, despite having lots of applicants, I was selected for the second stage of the interview process. This consists of an observation day with the manager, from 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM, at the end of which you'd have another interview. I asked information about the type of contract and employment, but they told me that we would have discussed that after the observation day. My e-mails regarding this subject (especially if this was a commission-based salary and a self-employed position) were left without a reply.
I decided not to go to the second day.
If you receive an invitation from this company, I suggest you do some research and find out what it's all about before accepting.
