Applied online, battery, zoom interview (decision making, communication, customer service long form discussion). Interviewers (3 managers) were great communicators and made it clear what they were looking for and demonstrated their depth of knowledge in the field/industry.

Applied online, received an email requesting completion of personality assessment and a skills assessment, then contacted by HR to set up virtual interview. During interview, interviewers were dressed in hoodies and T-shirts, while interviewees received an email from HR prior to the interview with the recommendation for interviewees to dress in business professional clothing. Not sure if there was a miscommunication between HR and their management or if their management just didn't care and expected interviewees to conform to the dress recommendation. We survived a pandemic so dress code isn't even important especially during virtual interviews, but don't expect interviewees to put in more effort to dress a certain way if you can't at least match it. It was really awkward to be overdressed and to see management not put in much effort/ not attempt to match the effort expected of interviewees. It seemed like they were just going through the motions of interviewing with a set of 7 questions. I didn't get a good vibe from the person interviewing who would be my direct supervisor, they seemed disengaged. Interviewers seemed really nonchalant. Also was put off by lack of diversity in the interview panel, no people of color represented, and I felt like a token diversity candidate. Overall, not impressed and decided not to look into SCE for future opportunities. HR did mention their benefits, and they have competitive salaries, but I had a gut feeling from the interview process that this is not a good fit for me to be at SCE. The HR recruiter was helpful and informative throughout the process so that was the only plus I guess. I also read some other reviews about SCE having problems with abusive management that contributed to a shooting in Irwindale, and feel like I'd be better off steering clear and investing time looking into other opportunities with other organizations.

They asked about background and experience, how one would contribute to inclusion and diversity, they go by the STAR interview method, asked to describe a situation where it was important to pay attention to detail
