I met with their regional person, Marshall. He showed up on time, very casual attire but the work environment probably dictated the attire. We sat down and exchanged a brief conversation. I kept waiting for him to start the interview, perhaps give me an overview of what the process would look like, but that never happened. The small talk kept going and was getting challenging. I had done my homework and had roughly 25 questions prepared based upon what I was able to find, the job description etc. I finally asked him a question from my list, He then proceeded to say lets go through your questions. We went through my questions which was helpful. I then waited again for him to ask me a question. I finally asked him what questions he had for me and the only question he had was "why do I want to leave my current position" . After that, more small talk, awkward conversation. Of course, he didn't prepare for the interview. He was 'winging it' and didn't have the interview skills to do that well. Eventually I stood up and he told me I would hear from him within 2 weeks. I never heard from him. I followed up with him, but he never responded.
