Initial contact was made over LinkedIn, followed by a phone Interview with HR personnel. Conversation covered the company, position and usual resume questions. The question that required more thoughtful answer was "What was your greatest accomplishment?". After a few weeks, a phone interview with the hiring manager was held. There were some questions related to the industry and some of them were used to gauge how I would behave in a tough spot (questions that I did not have enough knowledge to answer properly). The company brought me in for a face-to-face interview. I was asked to prepare a power point highlighting my accomplishments and what made me an outstanding candidate. The interview started with a panel of different professionals (hiring manager, sales, marketing and mission management) which lasted for about one and half hour. After that I had 30 min sessions with each person that was present in the panel. (a sandwich was provided and I swallowed it in between interviews). Before the last interview I was given a tour through the manufacturing facilities which were quite impressive. 3 weeks later, HR provided feedback that I was not shortlisted for the final phase but was offered the opportunity for a wrap-up conversation which was a very nice gesture (my experience has been that HR disappears if you are not one of the "chosen" ones).
