Entrevista
Process took a little over a month. Submitted my resume both online and through a friend who is a full time employee. Got contacted for a phone interview a few weeks after applying online (about a week after sending my resume to my friend). Phone interview went well, nothing too challenging but a lot of detailed questions about projects on my resume. Didn't hear back for about 4 weeks, when they contacted me again saying I "might be a better fit for a different division" (I applied for stuctures, and they moved me to systems integration in avionics). Had another phone interview with this department. Similar interview style, a little more breadth and less depth of questions but overall same type of stuff. Didn't hear back for about 10 days so I sent a followup email. Got a call later that day saying I got the job.

Lots of probing questions about design methods used in projects on my resume. Also a riddle:
3 lights in one room and 3 switches in another room, but you don't know which switch controls which light. You start in the switch room and can do whatever you want with them, then have to go to the light room and determine which switch controls which light.
The interview had quite a few technical questions regarding fundamental mechanical engineering principles along with some brain teaser questions. The recruiter was very quick at getting back to me. The interviewers were technical leads in their role.

Entrevista
It was quite a fun experience. I didn't really go into it with many high hopes as I am only a freshman in college but I know how to sell myself and I found it almost like a conversation with the recruiter to learn more about SpaceX.

Applied online; interviewed with several teams, one of which sent me an offer after talking to their manager and one other team member. All the stages were either 30min or 45min phone interviews.

They try to ride the fine line between technical questions and conceptual/creative ones. They also like questions that start with "How many ways can you think of to...". When you interview with multiple teams they each tend to ask about similar parts of your projects and experiences, so it does get a little bit repetitive.
