Application was easy and quick, received word of a first interview and this took a good while to come through. Had the first interview and was a very pleasant chat with a senior member of the engineering team. Found it very easy to get along with him even despite the requirement to do it on Teams.
Another long time passed and then was informed 2nd interview was incoming. This was what I would consider a typical interview, questions about the background, how university went, how my experience can help me, how Sparrows can help me to develop etc.
I was told I was successful maybe a month after this so the process was long but the opportunity was worth it.

Formal written HR questions despite conduct by the team lead. The team lead was not confident enough to conduct an interview. He just wants admin personnel, not engineers. So if you look for a temporary closing gap go for it
