Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Splunk (San Jose, CA) em fev. de 2021
Entrevista
10 mins is the shortest I/V call I ever had and was most uncomfortable in my career. We all suffer from unconscious biases but this Manager suffered from conscious bias, He looks after a vertical within company. In just minutes he asserts work I had accomplished didn't fit in that vertical and suggested he has many candidates in pipeline. Easy to figure this out during resume review instead of wasting your and candidates time. Probably not a place for critical thinkers and problem solvers. Wonder if this is a culture issue or an isolated incident.
The interview process was drawn out over a space of about a month. There were 7 interviews in total, mostly PMs (Dirs/VPs), architect, designer. Everyone was very nice and the interviews were straight-forward.
At the end of the process my references were checked and when I had the call with the hiring manager to learn the outcome, the role had changed or they decided to go in a different direction. An ex Splunker told me this happens regularly...so beware!
