I ended this interview early. The recruiter was, at once, very condescending and obviously completely unqualified to conduct a technical interview. She refused to answer simple clarification questions. She refused to commit to any kind of estimated pay range, but just given the language used was trying to prepare me for a number lower than industry average. After I said the position sounded like not a good fit, she kept me on the phone for 10 extra minutes while she explained to me (a person in this industry for over 8 years) "how the industry is" and "what I should be prepared for"
