The interview process and communication with the recruiter were excellent. They provided clear guidance on next steps and were transparent about the challenges associated with the role, as well as their expectations. However, my experience with the CEO was quite different. During the interview, the CEO appeared disengaged and showed little interest in the conversation. What was scheduled as an hour-long discussion ended abruptly after 20 minutes, with very little interaction or closure. In my 10+ years of experience working with CEOs, I have never encountered an interview experience like this.
