I interviewed here for a short term, temporary Human Resources Coordinator (lower level) job. Although I have many years of HR management experience, I was fine with this role, because I understood that it would be temporary only for a few months. When I arrived for the interview, I was asked to complete a three page questionnaire that consisted of very detailed essay questions about my HR experience. On the top of the first page, it reflected that these questions pertained to an "HR Manager" job - not the job I was interviewing for. Because I am highly experienced and certified in HR, I was fine with answering the questions, but it didn't make sense because I was applying for lower level, temporary job. During my interview, I asked if there were two positions open, because the questionnaire pertains to an "HR Manager" role. The interviewer told me abruptly, "yes", then "maybe" and explained that they need someone to help and "hit the ground running" and they don't want to waste time with someone. This was a very confusing and condescending interview, not to mention that the compensation they were offering was for a lower level job. As an HR professional myself, I find the best measure of a company culture is how candidates are treated during an interview. This place came across as very elitist, with a total lack of transparency.

The first interview was with the AGM and then a week later with the GM - no word a month later and I've left voicemail with both. Liked the position, great property getting a renovation, but zero follow up reflects culture. Company has interesting mix of properties, but limited growth structure.
