I first had a couple of calls with them and eventually they passed saying they'd like to see me grow more, and that we should keep in touch. A couple of months later another HR person/recruiter got in touch. They worked in my tight schedule at the time, which I really appreciated. There was a quick phone screen with HR, and then a few days later a Google Hangout with the developer I would be working along side. That interview consisted of two code samples. One, a fairly straight forward HTML doc that was poorly formatted and I had to point out the bad code. The other was an interactive element that was broken, and I had to fix with a bit of JS. They got back in touch for an in person interview. It lasted around 3 hours, in that time I met with 5 people, mostly going over my background, and such. One interview was with the person I did the hangout with, and we did some whiteboard exercises on JS. Another interview session was with two of the lead designers, and we basically went over the same poorly formatted HTML document. Lastly a brief tour of the offices. They got back to me a little less than a week later with a rejection. Saying that I just didn't have the necessary experience that others did.
