The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn- we set up a phone call to chat. Recruiter seemed somewhat disinterested and asked barely any questions about my background. Shared my profile with hiring manager - had phone call with hiring manager. Really enjoyed that conversation - great energy. Next round was a panel interview with a peer - interview went well. I followed up with the recruiter after each step with my feedback - she never proactively reached or provided any insight into what the process might look like. It took 9 business days for the recruiter to send me the generic thanks but no thanks - and this was after I followed up on day 7 with no feedback/radio silence. I received nothing more than the system generated note. Keep in mind my profile had been intro’d to one of the execs. At the VP level to be sent the generic email after waiting 9 days and not even given the courtesy of a phone call or further insight is incredibly unprofessional. I hope other candidates have a better experience than I did - the recruiting team clearly needs some work.
