I had a phone interview with two people who worked there. They were not very polite and it felt like they were trying to confuse me with their questions. My senior thesis in college was a Biological thesis which does not totally line up with what they do even though it was research, but they were laughing in a sarcastic way while asking "what was the point of that?" Overall I felt like they were slightly sarcastic and judgemental. No energy or excitement in their voice even from the beginning. Even if offered I wouldn't want to work for people like this.

I interviewed on the phone with my anticipated supervisor, before doing an in-person email with both co-founders. As I was not a local candidate, the co-founders were accommodating in scheduling an interview in a city near me while they were there for business. I also submitted several work samples for review during the interview process.
