I had a meeting with a 3rd party recruiter, a 30-minute phone conversation with the hiring manager and then a 45 minute in person with the hiring manager. Everything went great until it didn’t.
After my in-person interview, the hiring manager asked me to call him the next day to set up a meeting with an executive in the company. Which I did. No response. I sent a follow-up email and waited. 10 days later he called me and said the executive unavailable and he would get back to me in a week.
Ok I waited, a week goes by and nothing. FYI the whole time the recruiter is also trying to get a response from the hiring manager. Again nothing.
I stopped trying after a couple of calls and a couple of emails. However, the recruiter tried for 45 days to get any response at all. Again nothing. How can you not even respond to a recruiter that you hired?
I must say it was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have ever had with any company for any reason. How hard is it to respond? It felt like he was hiding.
They win all sorts of awards for best place to work. They must pay for those awards because it cannot possibly be true.
It goes without saying I would never apply there again or recommend anyone else do so.

We talked about my and the position, a pretty casual conversation. No real insightful questions from them. I asked a few and got pretty generic answers.
It was a poor interview. I didn't learn anything.

I came in for two in-person interviews. The first interview was a general one-on-one interview with the development team manager. The second interview included one of the lead developers, as well, and was more technical and included a code challenge. Both interviews were pretty low-pressure and everyone was very friendly.

During the first interview they asked about what technologies I prefer working with and why. During the code challenge I had to download a git repo, connect to an external API, and debug some of the functionality in the repo.
