Phone screen, no 2nd round. Applied online and the whole process took about two weeks. Pretty standard interview but not sure if it would have been a good fit for me.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela StackPath (Mission Viejo, CA) em ago. de 2022
Entrevista
Had 3 round of interviews and the process took 2 weeks.
1st round with HR Manager - a little background about yourself, what you do at work and a bit of technical questions in relation to the role. HR Manager and recruiter are nice. They are approachable and very responsive. They will tell you immediately if you move to the next round.
2nd round with 2 QA Managers - really smooth interview. More of conversational and less of interrogation. Managers did a really good job of explaining how CDN works and gave you a high level overview of the system works. They mostly do the talking and you pretty much listen. Technical questions are easy in this round
3rd round with QA Manager, QA Team Member & Software Engineer - white board, scenario based questions. I did messed up this badly but the team tried explaining how it works and gave me a good feedback.
In summary, I really had a positive experience with the interviewers especially with the QA manager. You'll really learn a lot from him.
The only issue I have is that after all 3 rounds of interview, I've never heard from them anymore. It's been more than a month. I tried reaching out but the recruiter said the position was on hold. But I believe I got rejected because they recently post the position on LinkedIn again. I think it would be appreciated if I get a rejected letter than getting ghosted. Just my two cents.

Thank you for the balanced review. That position was on hold for a few weeks but has now been re-opened since October 11th. We encourage you to re-apply if you're still interested in the role.
Two recruiters contact from stackpath on linkedin. I am not looking for change, but responded after multiple contacts because one of my previous mentor works there.
Talked to one of recruiter by pulling time of my schedule. Recruiter A says next step is coffee-chat with hiring manager. Prepared my resume (I havn't interviewed in a while so spend some time), Recruiter A says you have already interviewed with us. I said no way I haven't interviewed in years. He said through recruiter B. I provided all the information. Recruiter A says he has cleared the confusion and recruiter B will contact me. recruiter B didn't contact, even after couple of pings. It seems they don't have basic courtesy on how to deal with candidates in pipeline, especially for executive positions. Seems like they put rookies for executive hires.
This is the worst recruiter interaction. I will pass Stackpath. If they are treating like this before interview, then imagine the culture after you join.
