Applied online. Response within 3 days. The total process took about 2 months.
There were 3 interviews total and 1 art test. 1st interview was phone screening, which included questions like what I like about working in teams or on group projects, and my favorite and least favorite things to animate. The 2nd interview was a Teams video call with 2 leads. Then there was an art test to be completed within a week. It called for 3 cycling animations and some documentation. Then the 3rd interview, which was 2 hours and involved multiple teams. The CEO was unable to make it.

Animation process, challenges of the test, how I prioritize tasks, games I played, any animations within their games that I thought needed improvement, how I handle unclear direction.

Phone Interview with HR, followed by a video interview with the Producer and a design test! Verbal interviews weren't too bad but design test does require some basic math skills and knowledge of game systems. (can't give away questions for 2nd part because I signed an NDA)

Entrevista
Had a phone interview with an admin/pre-screen. Most of the questions asked were about basic competencies but some were about culture fit, as well as "why do you want to work here / at this job." Entire thing was fairly short.

They were interested in what games I'd been playing lately, which makes sense for a game designer position, but caught me off guard and I answered honestly that I'd been playing NES classic with my 6 year old. I don't think this is the answer they were looking for based on the interviewer's response.
