I was contacted via email for a phone screen one day after submitting an application on LinkedIn. When I replied with my availability for the next day, I didn't hear back. A couple days later, the recruiter responded and texting was the best method of communicating with her, which is highly unusual. The phone screen went okay, the recruiter had to ping the hiring manager a couple times throughout the conversation because she didn't know the answer to my questions. The recruiter told me to reach out to her if I didn't hear back from her within a week. A week later, I text and ask how interviews are going. She says interviews are ongoing and no decision has been made. I ask if I'm still being considered, to which she says, "Let me check" and I never hear from her again. Lol.
