My interview lasted over 2 hours - which is far too long for a first stage interview. It started off ok, however they seemed to make it very clear that Staff members will stab you in the back as soon as you start. Not only that, came across very patronising. The most disappointing is that the recruiters did not even get back to me regarding the role although I was advised I would find out on the Monday at the latest (my interview was on the Friday). Do not waste people's time in a 2 hour interview and not even have the courtesy to call them back. Not only does it look bad for the recruitment process and how you lack structure in this area but makes people wonder how you run the rest of the organisation. Very disappointing for a Hotel I once classed as 5 star.
