The interview process was fairly typical and somewhat easy, though time consuming. It was a three part process over a week. A short first interview with the President. This was easy because the interviewer clearly loved to hear himself talk and barely required me to speak at all. This was followed by a "homework" assignment of 2-3 pieces within the guidelines of the company. When finished you are to call to set up the second interview where you will go over your work with him again, talk with the art director, and a fellow employee. This was approximately 45 minutes. The third part was a trial day, where you came in and did the work as if you had the job to see if it was the right fit.
This lead to the job offer from the President. Upon receiving the offer I noticed some extra duties that were not mentioned prior to the offer. Some aspects of the offer were also unclear. When I contacted the President to clarify and try to negotiate (with the smallest of asks) he responded saying that based upon my response and "demands" he has decided to rescind the job offer. A unprofessional and crude response to a standard negotiation and clarification. When I attempted to contact again, all my calls, voice messages, and emails were completely ignored.
This by no means should stop you from accepting a job offer here. If you are desperately in need of work and don't mind a boss with little regard for his employees take the job. I am just stating my experiences.
