Fiz uma entrevista na empresa StarHub (Singapura).
Entrevista
Round 1 was a phone screen. Round 2 was a take home assignment to write a report on next best offer engine. The dataset from this assignment is artificially generated, meaning any insights is bogus. Round 3 was interview with hiring manager and lead data scientist. Round 4 was interview with vice president of customer lifecycle management team and another hiring manager from business analytics.
Afterwards, informal salary negotiations took place with HR which ultimately led to me failing. I had reported my salary to be 10% higher than what it actually was, and was dropped for dishonesty reasons because I was unable to prove my salary.
FYI, my previous salary was 4.9k, and I had claimed it was 5k. When asked for payslips to validate, I was unable to do so. This led to HR dropping me off despite being the top candidate. I was only asking for 5.3k minimum and 5.5k expected, which StarHub HR said was too high and they do not have budget for it. HR stated their policy is to only allow 10-15% of salary increment from previous job, and it did not help that my previous salary was low.
Actually, all non-hr rounds were very pleasant.

Thought the interview (with talent acquisition Li Yun) went well. but within 3 minutes, i received REJECTION, saying they have another alternative candidate! What is this yaar, seems they have foreigner onboard, and just wanted to get quota on singapore interviews.
