Panel interview with two panel members, and additional presentation element. The interview I found challenging but interesting and I thought the presentation was a great idea. The interviewers were really lovely and a pleasure to speak to. Ultimately I didn’t add enough detail on some of the questions and didn’t get the job but the hiring managers said I did well. The hiring process was extremely competitive as it was a great thing to start out your library career but not very high entry requirements. Hundreds and hundreds of people applied for the job. So you really need to stand out and have great answers.
