I received an email from one of the members of the recruitment team about two weeks after I applied through Linkedin for graduate opportunities in State Street. I was asked for a suitable time to call back and for my updated CV. I finally received a call 4 days after, at the time the recruiter set with me by email previously; the recruiter had a very strong indian accent and talked very fast so I had to ask her to repeat almost every question she asked. She asked me why do I want to work for State Street and asked a few questions about my education. She asked me if I was graduated and I said that, as explicitly written on my CV, my expected graduation date is this December. She sounded like she wasn't expecting that answer, and said that they were looking for people to start as soon as possible, so that she'll keep me in her database and contact me when I'm graduated. I think she should have read my CV before; it's common for graduates to start searching for a job a few months before graduating, since selection processes can last very long sometimes.

Telephone Interview on hurricane day without notice, I assume it was their HR guy called me from home using his cell phone. Terrible reception, no notice, and strong accent. I mentioned multiple times I had trouble listening but the guy still kept going. I had real bad impression about their HR team.
