I was initially contacted by phone to see if I was still interested in the job. At the time, the agency had a very low salary requirement they were willing to pay for the position. We did not schedule an interview at that time do to the salary. The next day, I sent an email to the individual who contacted me to let them know if their flexibility with salary requirement changes or if they wanted me to share lessons learn from implementing a PMO to feel free to contact me. About 2 weeks later I received a call for an interview. The team I interviewed with was very pleasant. At the time of the interview, they just didn't know what direction they really wanted for this position within their PMO.
