Apply online and a recruiter calls you to pre screen you. Eventually a manager should contact you if you know someone to put in a good word for you. The managers that do the hiring are not always the best and brightest. They definitely hire within.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 dias. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Station Casinos (Las Vegas, NV).
Entrevista
I interviewed with Santa Fe casino for a server position. I received a call to interview with the company it took about 3 days to get a call. When I got to the interview I found out it was a group interview and panel interview not as soon as I got there but after. 2 at the panel table 1 talked 1 who sat there with no expression and 2 others sitting in the distance, I was never made aware of this. Before I left I asked one of the people who also interviewed if they knew it was a group they said yes. We were all there for the same position I didn't care to know that information because now it's more of a competition show and dance. I also felt a little targeted during the interview process since I was the only one with experience in the room. I was picked out with the 1st statement being since you have experience then they proceeded to ask the question. Toward the end of the interview they made the statement that experience didn't matter I felt like that was a slap in the face however laughable to me I knew I wasn't going to get the job and hoped I didn't.. I knew I wasn't interested after the above. I found management to not look very professional in attire I wasn't sure if they were even from food and beverage to be honest. The vibe wasn't there the entire time I was thinking what kind of game is this?. I'd rather not work for a company that is inconsiderate of its prospects. I'm honestly to good of a strong candidate to work for them I have way better employers under my belt that know how to recognize talet and showed me nothing but respect. They can play these games with the inexperienced and attempt to devalue professionals. This is why they will continue to need to hire. Their loss definitely not mine.
