Had a 30 minute call first with a woman from HR who explained the job benefits and provided resources for finding living accommodations. Next was a 45 min interview with the head of the department I was applying for a job in. He was very nice and had a good conversation. A couple weeks later I received a call from the woman I spoke with in HR telling me the position had been filled, but congratulated me on being one of the top four candidates and gave me encouragement and wished me luck. Even though I didn’t get the job, I really appreciated that call from HR because most companies just never reach out to you again.
