      Entrevista

      Worldleaders helps the owner with the interview process. I first completed a phone screening where I was told, "I think this could be a great fit for both parties," so I took a sales test online (though this test isn't exactly relevant to the job). I was told by the recruiter that we would catch up on Monday. He never gets back to me, so I send an email following up a couple days later with no response. 1 1/2 weeks go by, and I get a random phone call from him again that the owner would like to interview me, with no apology or explanation as to why he didn't get back to me. Feeling like it's a bad idea already, I went along with the interview anyway. The interview took place at Steiner with the owner and someone else from Worldleaders, and it was the worst interview I've ever experienced. The owner is grumpy, very rude, and claims "I don't know anything about marketing," but when you make points that are well-known marketing tactics, he shuts them down and claims that they don't work, so right away, you know you would be working for someone who is close-minded and doesn't value their employees skills and capabilities. He grilled you the entire time and made me want to walk out because I could never see working with someone so miserable everyday. I've never left an interview feeling angry before, and I'm very easy to get along with. I wouldn't say the interview was too difficult, but he puts off a terrible first impression. The redeaming factor was the pleasant Worldleaders worker, though she said she would definitely follow-up either way with their decision, which she never did. So, lots of unprofessionalism bundled together. Glad I dodged that bullet.
