The hiring manager kept referring to the position I was interviewing for as something completely different as if they were confused which position I was interviewing for. One interviewer seemed completely disinterested in the process.

Entrevista
I arrived fifteen minutes early (as is protocol for most interviews) and the company's departmental representative arrived fifteen minutes past the interview mark.
I was led into a room with that representative and a higher authority figure - both were in casual clothing. The departmental representative didn't make eye contact, and the higher authority figure treated the interview as an inconvenience.
The position was referred to as a different title throughout the interview - cost controller, project accountant, cost accountant. The job description provided for the interview said project accountant, and when I pointed that out, I was told that the position "required someone to wear many hats."
The departmental representative and higher authority figure both asked my willingness and ability to travel multiple times, but weren't able to give any kind information as to what kind of travel obligations would be expected. This should have been a red flag.
The higher authority figure asked how my accounting background could prove useful for the position, which was confusing. The job title had the word "accountant" listed clearly on (one of) the job description(s). I answered truthfully, not understanding they were hiring an accountant for an administrative role.
I was offered a position by the company after two days, and accepted the position. Had I been in a better situation prior to the interview (the company I was working for was having serious cash-flow issues with no sign of improvement), I would not have accepted. This job was intended to be a stepping stone only.
