I submitted my resume in April and did not hear from Stitch Fix for 3-4 weeks. I figured they'd hired enough stylists or didn't like the fact that I have a FT job. Then, in mid-May I received an email from a recruiter asking that I submit a sample "Fix note" to a customer & complete a video interview. The video interview wasn't as awkward as I thought it might be...a question pops up on the screen and then you can press "record" whenever you are ready. It was nice to not have a running camera the whole time and to have a minute (or as many as you need!) to think of your best response. You also can re-record as much as you need. After I submitted my sample note and video, I received a request a day later for in-person interview at their HQ. I interviewed in person the following week. I met with 2 Lead Stylists and it was a pretty laid-back interview. It was not just question, answer, question answer-they allowed it to be more conversational. I also had to participate in a styling exercise where there were 6 pieces of clothing that I had to put into a "style profile", say which demographic I would send the item to, and how I would recommend styling each piece. Overall, that was probably the toughest part because each piece could go multiple ways! I was there for a total of 30 minutes and heard back the next day (on a Saturday).

Took a while to receive an invitation to interview, but once someone reached out it was a very easy process. They were straightforward about the interview process, accommodating, and very friendly. We emailed to set a date and time for a Zoom interview and I was told what to expect from the interview beforehand and that's exactly how the process went.
