A Recruiter will first reach out to you. He will get to know you and see if you have some qualifications. Then ask you to apply directly on the church website. He will reach out to you if you were selected for the next step. Then let you know that the HR team at the Church will reach out to you for an in office Interview. The interview itself was not like an interview. They didn't ask me any questions related to my skills what I have to bring in. They were just telling me about the job description, the environment ,the workers. I decided to sell my self. I asked them if I can talk a little bit about me and my background and experence. And they said sure. Then I started to explain my experence , my background and Tech skills and all that. The only questions they asked after my explanation was, why them? And I explain myself why I chosed to apply for this opportunity. They asked me to share my testimony of how I got to know Christ. And that was it. It was mostly more about the job and environment other than my skills. I was ready to show them how good i am in Database , Demostrate to them my SQL skills practically. But they didn't bother to ask me that. I guess they had their accepted candidate in mind already and they were just not interested in getting to know what I can do. I left hoping that I will get the chance to work for this church. They all good people. Stephanie is so full of energy, I like the team already. But from the look of things they had their mind made up on someone else even before my actual interview. The next morning I checked the Job positing was deleted . It was not Indeed glassdoor or Linkn any more. But yea, it was a very simple interview, it was more conversational . My skills was not tasted , I answer the 2 questions they asked clearly which was about why them and what my Christian journey. Hope this helped someone hoping to join the team. I was really hoping to get the job not just for the money but to serve in an area were I am good at in God's kingdom but well since it looks like I wasn't selected I will take my skills and desires and experence else where.
