I applied through their website and was called in for an in-person interview. I was interviewed by a panel of three employees, making up the official search committee for the position, which is what they seem to put together for all job openings, based on my experience. They each took turns asking questions and would each take their own notes. I was then given a quick tour of the department. I was called back for a second interview with the director of the department, who would be my direct supervisor. They called each of my references after this meeting and I was offered the position over the phone.
