Ghosted *twice* on the first phone call. I set up a time towards the end of the first week (Friday), only to not receive a phone call, nor an apology for missing the (Friday) time. I sent out an email on that same day, suggesting a time to reschedule, which received no reply.
Fast-forward to Monday, without confirming whether the time still worked for me, I was slotted for an interview at the time suggested back on Friday. "Okay, I thought, Let's try this again." Well, the recruiter no-showed AGAIN despite confirming the meeting same-day out of their own volition.
I sent a follow up email expressing my disappointment in the lack of respect for my time and questioning the culture of Storable if this is how they treat applicants. I then actually get a response to this message, essentially saying *exactly* at the time of my call, they were notified that there were "internal transitions on the team" and they had a new manager starting soon, so they decided to pause further interviews until he starts.
I don't believe it would have been a difficult thing to reach out on their own terms to notify me of a interview pause, and there is still no excuse (nor apology) for the original Friday ghosting. And this came from a well-established senior recruiter, not someone just starting out. After reading the recent reviews of Storable, it has become clear that they are disorganized and their communication is lacking.
