Really awful experience. I was put through five rounds in a span of a little over three weeks. After the last interview, I was told it was down to two finalists and I should hear back by the end of that week. That week goes by, nothing. I follow back up the following Monday, no response until two weeks later as they said they were 'finalizing interviews with other candidates' after explicitly telling me it was down to myself and another candidate. Followed up again about two weeks ago, and it's been radio silence ever since. I completely understand that they decided to go in a different direction, but to go over a month with no communication after putting someone through five rounds of interviews is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
