O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Stryker em mai. de 2012
Entrevista
Made it to a personality test via the telephone. asked a whole lot of off the wall questions. problem was the person administering the test sounded like they were in the car (wind blowing in until the windows were put up). put me on speaker phone and very poor speech pronunciation. i couldn't speak to them. they would ask questions, you answered, with no interaction. real nice. try hiring a professional who has the capability in speaking clearly. if you asked to repeat the question, it was held against you-seriously. needless to say, i asked on several occasions, and well the rest is history. i don't have anything to say about the company, just the interviewer they hired. wonder if they had an interview over the phone? it would have been a fail.
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 5 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Stryker (Austin, TX).
Entrevista
Very regimented hiring process. 2 recruiter interview, Gallup Interview, 3 area managers interview, ride along 8 hrs, onsite interview in Kalamazoo with 5 different department heads. Stryker really does its due diligence when bringing people in. Took 5 weeks from start to offer. With all that said the experience was very enjoyable, every person that I interviewed with was easy to speak with and very professional. I totally understand the reason why Stryker puts potential candidates through such a process, the compamy is looking for people that can work autonomously. They do not want to micro manage their people. You have to manage your territory, customer, sales rep, equipment, inventory, reports, relationships. Your office is your home and truck. They invest a ton of time and capital in you in order to drive business and success. So they have to be beyond sure they get the right person that can handle that type of work dynamic. You have to make it through each step in order to proceed in the process. The mentality of those that work there seems to be very positive and happy. The negative reviews that I have read about the process all come from those that haven't advanced or received an offer from Stryker, is that Stryker's fault? If you get the opportunity to go through the process just be yourself, they are looking for people that can communicate well, and don't get flustered in tense situations. Very Positive experience.

None of the questions were difficult to answer. No question like "Does the company come first"' Or "Company first?" I guess for me the toughest was, "What part of the job do you think will be the most difficult to you?" If your honest and be yourself, your experience and personality will speak volumes.
